About me

A Senior Product Designer with 6 years of experience across the Media, Financial, and Research industries. Born in America but raised in the UK, I blend diverse perspectives into my work. Before discovering UX, I worked as a Project Manager in finance, managing large initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders—a background that helps me easily handle complex design projects.

What I’m Passionate About

I’m passionate about accessibility, ensuring my designs are usable, useful and enjoyable for everyone, including people with disabilities. I believe in crafting simple, intuitive solutions that reduce friction and make even complex tasks feel easy for users. My approach is always user-first, creating designs that are both effective and inclusive.

Outside of work

You’ll often find me watching basketball on TV (big fan here!) or playing NBA 2K. I also love travelling and experiencing new cultures, and I never pass up the chance to catch live stand-up comedy. There’s something special about the energy of a live show!

Hackathons

I’ve had the chance to take part in several hackathons, and each one has been an exciting opportunity to dive into unique challenges and solve problems in creative ways. I’ve been fortunate to have some success, but what I love most is the fast-paced environment, collaboration, and the chance to push my problem-solving skills further. It’s always a rewarding experience!

1st place @ Amazon hackathon.

Mobile UX London has partnered with Amazon to put on a day Hackathon. The focus of this event was to showcase voice technology and how we can give people a better understanding of what’s in store for the future.

Over the course of the day, my team of 7 created an Alexa skill that helps you to take the right amount, of the right medicine, at the right time and provide queries on remaining dosage.

1st place @ Oracle and Orange hackathon.

Mobile UX London has partnered with Oracle and Orange to put on a 1 day Hackathon. The focus of this event was to showcase the future of messaging and how we can give people a better understanding of what’s in store for the future.

Over the course of the day, my team of five created a chatbot prototype that helps you save on paying bank fees and helps businesses from chasing customers in collections or financial difficulty.

1st place @ PwC and UK Black Tech hackathon.

Our focus was to help and support those who have been domestically abused. The solution was a mobile app which utilised AI, with features such as face recognition, natural language processing and sentiment analysis.
